The 2010 Tour de
France bike race begins on Saturday, July 3rd. We will be celebrating by featuring special pricing on a selection of cheeses inspired by the towns, villages and countryside along the race
route.
This year’s Tour is another
cheese-lover’s route through paradise. It begins, for the first time since 1954, in a country other than France-- the Netherlands. It winds through Belgium, through the French alps, Provence, Gascony, and Bordeaux, finishing
as usual in the Ile-de-France’s Paris. Please see specific details and
tasting notes for the cheeses below. Prices will be good until we run out, or through July 25th when the race ends.
Please note: selections on the website do not represent the full range of cheeses available in the store-- if you're looking for something you don't see here, by all means ask!
Our special pricing for this event: purchase one pound, get 10% off, 2 pounds, 20% off, three pounds 30% off! Weights may be mixed among any French and Dutch cheeses in stock. Thanks!
